INSTRUMENTS

The Instruments Section includes Woodwinds, Brass, Strings, Percussion, Family Groups and Bands. Provincial festival standards are followed for all instrumental classes. Adjudicators have sole responsibility for determining awards and scholarships.

Performance levels include Novice, Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and Open, with the Open category representing Diploma Standard. The number of entries determines the number of days set aside for each discipline.

Each entrant must perform a minimum of two and a maximum of three selections. A complete list of rules and eligibility requirements can be found in the Syllabus below.

Registration is completed through a separate online registration system. Please use the registration link provided in the Registration section below.

In the event of any discrepancy between the downloadable syllabus and the online registration syllabus, the online version will be considered the official and correct version.

Tickets for Duncan United Church (Stings) sessions are $2 or purchase a Duncan United Church season's pass for $10. Cash only at the door.
Tickets for CPAC (Bands) sessions are $3 or purchase a CPAC season's pass for $25. Cash only at the door.
